Producing
Producing has helped shape my career by giving me a hands-on understanding of how every element of a project fits together, from concept to execution. It's taught me how to balance creativity with logistical problem-solving, manage a team, and get a better understanding of certain tech that makes the shows run like Zetta and VoxPro. Through these experiences, I've developed a deeper understanding of the industry, which has made me more adaptable, strategic, and confident in my decision-making and my ability to help run a show.
On Air Personality
While being a producer, I also have the role of acting as a co-host on the morning show, Chris and the Crew on 94.5 PST. Alongside this, I have a show that airs once a week on Fridays from 12am to 3am. This has been beneficial in honing my on-air DJ skills and learning what it takes to prep for an on-air shift.
Promotions Tech Coordinator
Working as a promotions tech coordinator at Townsquare Media, I have been able to interact with listeners at various events. Being able to be the face of a station and talk with fans has been an incredible experience. It also allowed me to learn so many of the ins and outs of the industry which has been which has been invaluable in shaping my understanding of both the creative and business aspects of production.
